IncubateX is a virtual incubator program for tech entrepreneurs. Our program operates at the intersection of business and technology. Our program follows a streamlined process that takes entrepreneurs’ technical needs and turns them into fully functional, professionally built solutions. We work with entrepreneurs to develop the vision around their technology needs and help them obtain the resources needed to turn their vision into a market-ready solution.

IncubateX is a product-focused incubator program. We provide mentorship and resources specifically catered towards turning a technological vision into a tangible solution. We work with entrepreneurs who either have an in-house team of developers who need guidance or teams who do not have technical resources and need help building this arm of their organization. The other unique aspect of IncubateX is that we bring a network of investors with an appetite for disruptive tech ideas into the fold. While our investments are in the entrepreneurs themselves, we ask our investment is used to develop the solution for thier big idea, not be used for other operating costs.

How we do this

Entrepreneurs accepted into our program can expect the following from IncubateX:
Work with the founding team to fully understand their technical needs.
Determine the scope and cost of developing their solution.
Put together a project plan around the development of their solution.
Match them with an investor who will cover all or a portion of the costs to develop the solution in exchange for equity in the entrepreneur’s business.
Design and develop the solution with the support of the entrepreneur.
Mentor the entrepreneur and set them up to successfully manage and evolve their solution beyond the program.

What we provide

The IncubateX team is composed of product leaders, software engineers and investors.
Incubator program follows a project-styled curriculum for our selected entrepreneurs, with each program being unique to each entrepreneur.
Addresses two critical needs: building professional, market-ready technology solutions and getting them the capital needed to cover the costs associated with building their solution.
Upon acceptance, entrepreneurs come along for the journey of a typical software development project roadmap.
Work with the entrepreneur throughout the entire process to align product with the entrepreneur’s vision and supports their business model, but also to mentor the entrepreneur and set them up to successfully manage and evolve their solution beyond the program.
How we do this

Selection Process

Application is submitted and reviewed by the IncubateX executive team.
If approved, the entrepreneur submits a business plan.
IncubateX will schedule an interview with the founding team.
If accepted, IncubateX will propose relationship terms.
Closing documents will be signed.

After Acceptance

Conduct a series of meetings with the entrepreneur to determine the product requirements.
Put together a cost proposal and statement of work for the project.
Proposal and determination of project cost funding.
Set investor meetings for the entrepreneur.
Project kick off.
